This assistance is covered under the partnership agreement between VPPA and PHAMA Plus to work together in the agriculture and related industries to register and assist farmers in the country. PHAMA Plus Country Manager also stated that this is essential as VPPA would also be able to co-work with PHAMA Plus in capturing relevant stories in the field throughout Vanuatu and have access to expertise in the region. This would be beneficial to the work done by both offices.

The equipment given to VPPA will also be shared with MALFFB Communications and information Office to maximize its utilization. An agreement on the usage of this equipment will soon be drafted to reflect this with partners of VPPA, office of the DG-MALFFB and PHAMA Plus.

Representatives of VPPA including Provincial Officers and communications officer were present to receive the equipment in the presence of the DG-MALFFB, PHAMA Plus Communications Manager in Fiji, PHAMA Plus Country Manager and PHAMA Plus National Facilitator.
